Keywords:REBCO, conductive buffer layer

In order to develop low-cost REBCO wires, we have developed a new structure for epitaxially growing REBCO via a conductive buffer layer on a textured Cu-tape. In this structure, when the superconductivity is broken at a part of the REBCO layer, the current flowing in the REBCO layer can bypass to the Cu-tape, which can work as a stabilizing layer as well as biaxial crystal orientation template. In this study, I examined the possibility of applying (Sr1-x Lax)(Ti1-y My)O3 as the novel conductive buffer layer.
