[20p-C212-7] Design and control of structures and functions using characteristics of hydride anions

Hiroshi Kageyama1 (1.Kyoto Univ.)

Keywords:hydride

Hydride has unique features such as high compressibility, the absence of p orbitals in its valence shell, large polarizability, and high lability. By taking advantage of these features, it is possible to control the composition, structure, and function of hydride-based materials. This talk will introduce some of such examples.
