[20p-PB4-93] Visualization of various low-level gamma-ray radiation sources in the ambient environment using a high-sensitivity omnidirectional Compton camera

We present the experimental protocols of visualizing various low-level gamma-ray radiation sources that exist in the surrounding environment. Experiments were conducted by using a low-cost and high-sensitivity omnidirectional gamma-ray imaging Compton camera which we developed. We demonstrated clear advantage to visualize gamma-ray sources by using our procedure with this camera. Our protocols can be more useful to find low-level radioactive contamination instead of the stationary dose rate monitors and/or portable survey meters used conventionally.
