Whispering-gallery-mode (WGM) microresonators allow strong light-matter interaction by confining light spatially and temporally. We are going to develop a mode-locked laser with optically coupled CNT and erbium-doped microresonator. In this work, we theoretically investigated the condition required for mode-locking in an active WGM microresonator.
