[10a-PB3-8] Fabrication and evaluation of Ag8SnS6 photoelectrode by fine particle coating techniqueⅡ
Effect of annealing under hydrogen sulfide atmosphere on samples composition
Keywords:Ag8SnS6, photoelectrode, fine particle coating technique
Ag8SnS6 with a band gap energy of 1.3 to 1.5 eV which absorbs strongly visible light has drawn attention recently as a potential material for photoelectrode applications. Last time, we have made high quality Ag8SnS6 thin films by using fine particle coating technique, methanol, polyethylene glycol, and triton-X as a solvent, thickening agent and dispersing agent, nitrogen gas as the atmosphere used for heating. The result was that sulfur composition of the samples was insufficient although uniform samples were successfully prepared. This time, heating process was performed in hydrogen sulfide containing atmosphere in order to increase sulfur content.
