We have been advancing research on sensitized thermal cell by changing photoexcitation of a dye-sensitized solar cell to thermal excitation in a semiconductor (Mater. Horiz., 2017, 4, 649-656 .; ACS Appl. Energy Mater., In press. DOI: 10.1021 / acsaem 8 b 0 1522.).Interesting features were confirmed such as power generation performance by placing the cell in a heat source. In the presentation, we reported methods such as confirmation of redox reactions conducted to prove the concept of STC, confirmation of the presence or absence of chemical dissolution of electrode, etc.
