[10p-M113-10] Study on Magnetic Susceptibility Anisotropy of High Temperature Superconducting Particles
Keywords:three dimensionally magnetic orientation, magnetic susceptibility anisotropy, high temperature superconductor
REBa2Cu3Oy and REBa2Cu4O8 are superconducting ceramics with high critical temperatures. These crystals have orthorhombic forms which can be aligned three dimensionally under modulated magnetic fields. Three-dimensional (3D) orientation is necessary for the practice use of these microcrystals. Anisotropy of magnetic susceptibility of materials is required to determine the condition of 3D magnetic orientation. Magnetic susceptibility anisotropy of 3D magnetically oriented microcrystal arrays (MOMA’s) can be measured with SQUID. In this research, we have studied a method that can determine magnetic susceptibility anisotropy without solidifying samples by in situ X-ray diffraction method.
