Keywords:DC-bias free, paraelectric barium titanate ceramics

Because of the strong dependence of the dielectric constant on the applied electric field of Barium titanate ceramics, it is not preferable to be applied in high power applications. In order to produce paraelectric Barium titanate ceramics for DC-bias free dieletrics, elemental codoping is investigated in this study. Mn-Nb codoped Barium titanate ceramics have been prepared by solid state synthesis with three different routes. Polarisation-electric field loops of 10 mol % Mn and Nb co-doped Barium titanate ceramics resembled paraelectric nature. Temperature dependence of dielectric constant of the same samples didn't show any sharp phase transition in the temperature range of 25oC to 250oC.
