[10p-PB1-2] Droplet position measurement based on droplet-dependent response using surface acoustic waves

Digital microfluidic system is one of the important applications of the surface acoustic wave (SAW) devices. As a droplet is controlled by the SAW, it is necessary to know the droplet position. In this paper, we propose the determination method of the droplet position using reflected and transmitted signals, which are obtained from the SAW device. The results indicate that the precise determination of the droplet position is possible with the proposed method.
