Temperature dependence of the proportional coefficient of diffusion coefficient of the OH groups to their concentration in Arrhenius plot showed slight difference between the silica glass containing 100 wt ppm of OH and no OH at hither temperatures than 1100°C. The difference might be derived from the error in the analysis. Then, we tried to analyze a more reliable method that determined the diffusion coefficient by fitting the theoretical curve of the OH distribution to that of the experimental data. As a result, no difference between the present result and the foregoing study was observed.
