We have studied the diffusion of OH group in the bound sample of two types of silica glass with different OH concentrations upon heat treatment. The hydroxyl diffusion coefficients were found to be proportional to the OH concentration analysed by Boltzmann-Matano's method. In the foregoing study, we analyzed by an analog method where the differential coefficient was obtained numerically by applying a straight rule to each point with a universal ruler at the data point. We proposed, in this study, we proposed a new method that use a approximate function containing several parameters to fit the experimental curve of the OH concentration distribution. This method make easier the analysis procedure of the Boltzmann-Matano’s method.
