[11a-S321-5] Joint between Bi2223 polycrystalline bulks for clarification of the superconducting joint principle

Recently, we have successfully demonstrated high Ic superconducting joint between the commercialized Bi2223 tapes. However, the superconducting joint principle is not clarified and there is room for discussion about strategies for the improvement in Ic characteristics. Based on these backgrounds, superconducting joint between Bi2223 polycrystalline bulks was attempted in this study.
