[11p-S222-8] Evaluation of Electron Current in Aluminum Quinolinol Complex and Its Correlation with Device Performance
Keywords:organic light-emitting diode, electron current, current continuity
Aluminum quinolinol complex (Alq3) has been widely used as an electron transport material as well as an standard emission material. Although the electron current was evaluated using an electron-only device, a regular property is not reported. We evaluated the electron current flow in Alq3 in the emission region using the hole conduction and a current continuity. In the case of good hole conduction, a same electron current flow can be obtained. However, since the abnormal current flow is observed in the high current region, it is suggested that the voltage division in the device may be changed.
