[9p-PB3-1] Structure analysis of epitaxial thin film by 2D-GIXD

A method of vacuum evaporation using epitaxy is an effective way to control the molecular orientation utilizing the interaction between substrate and organic molecule. However, the mechanism of the epitaxial growth of organic thin film has not been established. In this presentation, PTCDA was deposited on mica substrate by vacuum deposition for elucidating the mechanism of epitaxial growth. In addition, the thin film structures of PTCDA were investigated by 2D-GIXD. We found that high crystalline PTCDA thin film was obtained on the mica substrate by epitaxial growth.
