Conductive polymer PEDOT:PSS is known as an organic material with high thermoelectric (TE) properties. Recently, there have been some reports of the thermoelectric properties of aerogel structures of PEDOT:PSS with low thermal conductivity. In this report, we fabricated PEDOT:PSS aerogels by a freeze-drying and applied supercritical CO2 atmosphere for the secondary doping. This secondary doping caused little shrinkage of PEDOT:PSS aerogels with low thermal conductivity and thick structure, which are the advantage for maintaining temperature. Therefore, we achieved the fabrication method of PEDOT:PSS aerogel with keeping its unique porous structure for TE materials.
