Keywords:metal single crystal, Fe-Ga alloy, vibration power generator

There is a power generation technology that converts vibration energy into electric energy using a magnetostrictive material, and Fe-Ga alloy has been attracting attention as a material exhibiting excellent magnetostrictive properties for the vibration power generation. We will report the results of growing a 6-inch diameter Fe-Ga alloy single crystal using a high-frequency induction heating type CZ puller and the results of evaluating the characteristics of a high-quality 4-inch diameter Fe-Ga alloy single crystal.
