DNTT-PMI is a soluble precursor of DNTT, which has two stereoisomers: endo- and exo-forms. In the present study, the influence of the stereoisomerism of DNTT-PMI on the thermal conversion reaction in a thin film is investigated by the pMAIRS and GIXD techniques. The DNTT film is prepared easily from the endo-form; whereas the conversion of the exo-form is largely suppressed by the self-aggregation property.
