In contact type biometric authentication system, there are problems of hygiene, risk of information leakage and decrease of throughput. In order to acquire a clear vein image without contact, it's necessary to devise a way to guide the hand to the imaging position without restriction. In this research, we propose aerial guiding illumination using AIRR. When introducing it to ATMs, the volume of the housing for aerial display is limited. This work, the relationship between the size of the aerial guiding illumination optical system and the viewing angle is analyzed.
