Recently, the unique dislocations such as the straight and stream-types in ScAlMgO4 crystal were observed by reflection X-ray topography. In the study, we examined to characterize these dislocations using transmission X-ray topography. The straight-type dislocations are introduced along [0-110], [10-10], and [-1100], but no dislocations in the [10-10] direction were visible in the 20-20 X-ray topograph. Using the extinction rule, Burgers vector is identified to be [1-210]. We will also present the result of the stream-type dislocation.
