[17p-Z32-7] Crystal growth of Cu metal single crystal by CZ method

There was a report of a Cu single crystal with a diameter of 10 mm growth by the high-frequency induction heating CZ method. We conducted a Cu single crystal growth test using the CZ method using the same growth as for Ni metal single crystals, but it was difficult to grow crystals due to impurities generated on the surface of the melt. We succeeded in growing Cu single crystals of φ18 mm × 25 mm by the CZ method optimized for Cu single crystal.
