△ [18a-Z22-6] Optoelectronic neural interface device based on distributed CMOS architecture
Keywords:integrated circuit, optgenetics
In the field of brain science and neuroscience, there is a growing need for devices that can invasively access the brain of experimental animals for stimulation and measurement. We aim to develop a device that covers four functions: electrical stimulation/measurement, optical stimulation using optogenetics, and optical measurement including scattering and fluorescence measurements, and that can be flexibly adapted to various animal brain sizes and measurement area settings. In this presentation, we report the concept of the device and the design of the core unit device.
