Elastography is a medical imaging modality that maps the elastic properties and stiffness of soft tissue. Elastography has already been developed in ultrasound imaging and magnetic resonance imaging.
We have been developed X-ray elastography to evaluate the elastic properties and stiffness of soft tissue in small regions.
In this presentation, we report a basic study of 3D dynamic X-ray elastography combined with X-ray CT. In the future, we expect that this technique can be used not only for medical diagnosis but also for evaluation of elastic modulus of materials.
