Light emitting devices that use stimulated emission processes are promising for achieving high brightness and high-power efficiency. Recently, some high-performance headlights and laser projectors are being put to practical use. In order to carry out this with a simple manufacturing process, it is necessary to realize a current injection type organic semiconductor laser. We have produced promising organic semiconductor material (thiophene/phenylene) co-oligomer (TPCO) crystals as a light emitting layer using simple solution casting methods, and realized EL light emission in microcavities that can be easily lasing by photoexcitation. In this time, with the aim of improving the EL properties, ELs were obtained by forming pn junctions using n-type TPCOs, and we will report on it.
