Keywords:Terahertz, Polarization-resolved spectroscopy

Currently, there is no method that can easily achieve both high polarization resolution and high frequency resolution for spectroscopic measurements in the terahertz region. We are aiming at performing spectroscopic measurements with high sensitivity in a simple measurement system using a narrow-bandwidth terahertz light source and a high-sensitivity detector. Toward this end, we have devised and demonstrated a new homodyne detection method using polarization modulation. In this talk, the evaluation of the constructed system and the spectroscopic measurements using the system will be discussed.
