レーザー光による物質の破壊過程を解明するため、LDをシードとした200 ps – 1 μs パルス幅可変レーザーと、モード同期レーザーのチャープ制御による270 fs – 11 psパルス幅可変レーザーを用いて、金属および半導体におけるアブレーション閾値のパルス幅依存性の精密測定を行った。
