Control of qubits by means of monolithic single-flux quantum circuits has been proposed, but this requires even lower power consumption. Due to the size limitation of the Josephson junction, a low current density of the junction is required to further reduce the power consumption, which results in a trade-off with the operation speed. The aim of this work is to evaluate the possibility of operating at speeds above 4 GHz, which is required for the control of qubits, in NbN-based single-flux quantum circuits for monolithic applications with qubits.
