Keywords:Atmospheric-pressure plasma, Liquid-phase ozone, Pathogen inactivation

The aim of this work is to realize plant disease control via pathogen inactivation by reactive species, generated by atmospheric pressure plasma. A liquid-phase ozone spraying device has been developed, which realizes the gas-phase ozone dissolution followed by isolation of the gas-phase ozone to avoid the gas-phase ozone exposure to plant, which is a cause of plant damages. The pathogen inactivation effect was experimentally achieved by improved liquid phase ozone transport with minimized the gas-phase ozone exposure to target, thus selective liquid-phase ozone transport shows the potential to achieve pathogen inactivation with reduced plant damage caused by gas-phase ozone.
