We invistigated lens properties of electron round lenses produced by the ponderomotive potential. The potential was assumed to be derived from an light beam lying coaxial to the electron beam axis. With the beam shapes as Bessel and Laguerre-Gaussian beams, several fomulas for the design of the electron lens system were obtained in the thin lens approximation. By calculating the electron trajectory, we found the specific parameters of a light beam to correct spherical aberration of an electron objective lens.
