We developed the mid-infrared (LWIR: Long Wave Infrared) passive spectroscopic imaging apparatus that uses an un-cooled micro-bolometer array sensor as a light receiving device. This makes it possible to acquire component information from the spectral emission intensity of an object spectral without light source. In this study, we will propose the new background correction method for calculating the spectral characteristics from the acquired the spectral emissive intensity. This proposed method can be estimated the background light and object light by fitting calculation using Planck’s law as a basis-function.
