△ [26p-E204-4] Estimating Method for Skin Moisture Content by Near-Infrared Fourier Spectroscopic Imaging
Keywords:Near-Infrared Fourier Spectroscopic Imaging, Monte Carlo method, moisture content
The moisture content of the skin is estimated from the absorbance at each pixel acquired by near-infrared Fourier spectroscopic imaging. To calculate the moisture content from the absorbance, the optical path length must be clear. The relationship between the moisture content and the measurement depth was calculated in advance by the Monte Carlo method. The optical path length was set to twice the measurement depth. Then, the moisture content of the skin was calculated from the absorbance. We succeeded in visualizing the moisture content distribution of the skin (Moisture content: 50.0% to 69.1%) in 50 x 50 pixels.
