[15a-D511-1] Finite Element Analysis for Chladni Patterns on the Virtual Elastic Body

Jun Inagaki1 (1.no affiliation)

Keywords:FEM

In case it is difficult to know the details of the structure and material properties for the interest of the study, we can approximate the target material as the virtual elastic body and working on its dubbed virtual material properties [1]. Then, when the target material possesses large area in compare to its thin dimension, we can employ 2D plate model including a thickness parameter instead of entire 3D models.
In this report, we present the developments of the Finite Element Analysis for Chladni patterns on the virtual elastic body with respect to the frequency of the oscillation.
