[16a-A403-1] Coulomb collision of single electrons in silicon double single-electron pumps

Coulomb interaction between single electrons can be used as a deterministic 2-qubit gate in flying electron quantum bits. However, there is no report on interaction of hot electrons in silicon systems in the single-electron regime. Here, we collide single electrons using two silicon single-electron pumps and observe current increase due to the Coulomb interaction. This is an important step toward realization of silicon flying qubits.
