[16p-D311-1] Laser irradiation test for pixelization of high-Z nanoparticle-loaded plastic scintillator

We are developing a scintillation pixel-array detector using 20wt% HfO₂ nanoparticle-loaded plastic scintillator (20wt% Hf-PLS) for high-energy X-rays. To arrange sub-mm size pixels, a narrower dead-area is needed in a detector array, and it should be avoided that scintillation light enters from neighboring pixels. Therefore, we tested a light shield produced by laser irradiation on 20wt% Hf-PLS with synchrotron X-ray beam.
