Zeolite nanoparticles were prepared by irradiating ion-exchanged zeolite with a laser, and the particle size and crystallinity of the prepared nanoparticles were investigated. By using ion-exchanged zeolite as a raw material, we were able to prepare fine nanoparticles with a minimum size of about 50 nm while maintaining the crystallinity of the zeolite. By changing the centrifugal strength after laser irradiation, we were able to selectively recover nanoparticles of arbitrary size from a wide size distribution.
