In this paper, 10 layers of CF sheets are externally bonded using VaRTM technique on non-load-carrying cruciform welded joints, and stress concentration at the weld toe is investigated. The validity of the experiment is examined with the FEM model which is simulated from the actual image of bead shape. As a result of comparing the values of stress concentration factor between experiment and FEM, it is confirmed that the experiment and FEM value are almost the same and the strengthen effect by CF sheet agrees with the theoretical value.
