About 85% of operating lines in Tokyo Metro Co., Ltd. are made of tunnels. Some are built under rivers and in landfills. In open-cut tunnels, floating and peeling are one of the major issues. Cross section repair method has been adopted for many years as a method of repairing floating and peeling. However, after several years of repair, deterioration phenomena may appear again and it was necessary to confirm the performance of the section repair that was performed. Therefore, we examined the required performance for cross-section repair work and the test method to confirm the required performance.
