低レベル放射性廃棄物浅地中処分施設の難透水性覆土およびその周辺覆土の施工仕様の設定が求められている．既往の研究では，吹付け工法¹⁾や転圧工法²⁾を用いることで，高密度かつ止水性の高い難透水性覆土の構築が可能であることを明らかにしている．そこで，本報文では，下部覆土の要求性能（透水係数1.0×10^-8オーダー（m/s）以下）に対し，実施工を想定した一般的な土工事と同様な手順で大型重機を用いた施工試験を実施した結果について報告する．
