[2B25-30-05] Pressure Stabilized Finite Element Scheme for Dynamic Problems of Incompressible Elasticity

In this paper, a novel finite element scheme for dynamic problems of incompressible elasticity. For the temporal discretization, an extension of the Rattle algorithm proposed by the author for nearly incompressible problems is adopted. Displacement and pressure fields are approximated by piecewise linear and constant functions respectively and the stabilization term for pressure is introduced. Further the choice of the stabilization parameter in dynamic problems is also discussed.
