工学英語教育の教材をCLILの原理に基づいて設計した。「タスクベースCLIL教材」を制作した。本報告では、本教材のコンセプトとコンテンツ設計の手法を提案する。コンテンツ設計とは、例えば1.トピックスの選定方法、2.工学教員と英語教員の役割、3.CLILの４C (Content, Cognition, Communication, Community)とタスクの創案、4.CLIL Lesson Planの作成と授業設計などを含む。英語理解とコンテンツ理解の相乗効果についても言及する。
