松江高専専攻科では製品デザイン演習としてVEを用いたPBLを実施している。修正テープを例題として製品とその構成要素の機能と価値を分析し、新たなデザイン案の考案をつうじて製品改良を提案する。受講生の97%がデザイン能力の向上を感じている。
