小学校の教育現場では，プログラミング的思考に基づく教材開発が行われている．教育現場にノウハウが残り，授業で利用したいと望む教材の開発には労力がかかる．大洗町教育委員会と茨城工業高等専門学校で協力して取り組んだ教材開発について紹介する．
