The number of examinations in hydraulics was increased from two to three in order to improve academic achievement. As a result, the number of students in the top grade level increased and the number of students who failed the exam decreased, indicating an improvement in the overall academic ability of the students. The implementation of examinations for each major unit and the reliable participation in quizzes are presumed to be factors in this improvement.
