We designed a workshop for researchers doing team science to encourage collaboration among researchers. Its distinctive feature is that it allows participants to narrate their internal motivations, which are not discussed in research presentations. As a result, "questions that permit narrative,"
" listeners who entrain the narrating," and "what everyone sees together" were the main elements that guided the researchers' narratives.
