Conference Registration and Abstract Submission
Please use the Internet to register for the conference (registration in advance), to submit a general presentation application, and to submit an abstract. Please click on "Applications" on this website and follow the instructions on the screen.
Presenters are requested to pay the conference registration fee and the 2023 conference fee by 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday, January 9, 2024 (or by 3:00 p.m. on the same day in the case of payment by bank transfer). If payment is not received by the deadline, your application will be cancelled.
Please pay the conference registration fee by credit card if possible, and complete the payment procedure on the website at the time of pre-registration. Not all mobile devices are compatible with the registration process, so we recommend that you use a PC.
*Please note that "Reissue" will be printed on the receipt for the second and subsequent issues.
*Please use the invoice for the registration fee issued online on the registration site.
*If you need a stamped paper receipt, please contact the conference secretariat ( 2024esj.jaez.goudou@grp.tohoku.ac.jp ) with the subject line "Participation Fee Receipt".

In both cases, the deadline for credit card payment is 5:00 p.m. and the deadline for bank transfer is 3:00 p.m. Please note that the deadline for credit card payment is 17:00 and the deadline for bank transfer is 15:00.
Abstracts are limited to 546 characters in Japanese and 1,092 characters in English. For details, please click here.

Conference Registration Fee
General members: 8,000 yen in advance, 11,000 yen on the day
Student members: 4,000 yen in advance, 6,000 yen on the day
Non-members: 10,000 yen in advance, 13,000 yen on the day
Accompanying persons: 1,000 yen in advance, 3,000 yen on the day
Party Fee
General members: 9,000 yen in advance, 11,000 yen on the day
Student members: 7,000 yen in advance, 9,000 yen on the day
Non-members: 11,000 yen in advance, 13,000 yen on the day
Accompanying persons: 7,000 yen in advance, 9,000 yen on the day
*Spouses or family members are welcomed as accompanying persons who have NO access to scientific sessions. Kids of elementary school age or younger are free of charge.
*The registration fee is non-refundable even if you cancel your participation after paying the registration fee.
For those who do not use credit card or convenience store payment
After completing the registration process on the conference website, please select "Bank Transfer".
Account information will be automatically issued by GMO Aozora Net Bank for each participant.
(We do not have a shared account for the tournament.) Please select "Bank Transfer" and proceed to the "Complete Payment" page to display the account information. Please transfer the amount for one person to the account displayed.
Please do not transfer the amount for more than one person to a single account, as this will result in incomplete registration.
Bank transfers are made using the online payment agent service of GMO Payment Gateway, Inc. Bank transfers should be made to GMO Aozora Net Bank.
Only deposits from within Japan are accepted.
Please note that the payment procedure page is also available only in Japanese.
For Honorary Members and Supporting Members
The conference secretariat will send a separate notice to those who are eligible to become honorary members. If you are an honorary member who will be speaking at the conference, please follow the above-mentioned procedure on the Internet. Please select "Honorary Member" for Honorary Members and "Supporting Member" for Supporting Members.
The registration fee for Honorary Members and Supporting Members is zero yen.
Purchase of Book of Abstracts
The Book of Abstracts will be prepared in PDF format and can be downloaded from the conference website for free.
If you would like a booklet, you can do so for a fee on the participation application site. We will distribute them at the reception desk at the venue, so please come by. If you do not want to participate in the conference and would like only the printed version, please contact the help desk.
Abstracts
Abstracts must be submitted online by entering them directly from the registration site. The method of abstract submission is the same for both general lectures and plenary sessions. Please follow the rules described on the registration site.
The maximum length of abstracts is 546 characters for Japanese and 1092 characters for English. For details, please click here.
The deadline for general presentation applications and abstract submission is Tuesday, January 9, 2024 at 17:00. The deadline for registration for participation only is Friday, February 9, 2024.
