The approximately 18-hectare apple orchard in Owani Town, Aomori Prefecture received organic certification in November 2014, and has continued to do so since then. Feeding status was monitored using seven trail cameras. We reported the results at last year's conference by feeding children from one apple to a maximum of 25 apples, and examining the amount of apples they eat per day. Ate a maximum of 23 apples. This time, we will report on the "damage" from September 6, 2023 to October 26, 2023. We placed four apples and four oranges each and examined how they were eaten. Next, we placed two apples, and four oranges from Kumamoto and four from Australia. we looked at the number of apples and oranges that were "eaten" every two days. This season is when raccoon dogs, badgers, martens, and Asiatic black bears are active. Raccoon dogs, badgers, martens, and Asiatic black bears were ''eating'' most of the apples.We checked with a trail camera, but in some cases the predators were not captured. However, when it comes to mandarin oranges, neither Kumamoto nor the ones grown in Australia can be eaten. The only ones that ate the mandarin oranges were the red rat and the brown rat. Long-billed crows and carrion crows eat apples, but not mandarin oranges. Oranges contain limonene.
