[27] National BioResource Project
The National BioResource Project systematically collects, preserves, and distributes 36 bioresources – the strains, populations, tissues, cells, and genetic materials of animals, plants, and microbes and their associated information – that require strategic development by the national government. At the NBRP booth, we will mainly exhibit 5 bioresources; mushrooms, medaka, clawed frogs, newts, and cellular slime molds. You can also talk directly with knowledgeable experts including researchers who are routinely handling these 5 bioresources for their research. We will also have handouts and brochures regarding the 5 bioresources as well as those of human cord blood cells, human and animal cells, chickens, quails, Japanese macaque, rats, pathogenic eukaryotic microbes, zebrafish, prokaryotes, pathogenic bacteria and ABS support. Please visit us at our booth and take a look at our resources.
