[S23] Life-oriented Chemistry in Pharmaceutical Sciences (Frontiers of Functional Molecule Development for Advanced Molecular Imaging)

Sun. Mar 26, 2023 4:10 PM - 6:10 PM [Room C1] Institute for the Advancement of Higher Education: S1 (Bldg. S: 1F)

Organizer: Yuuta Fujikawa, Daisuke Asanuma

In recent years, molecular imaging research centered on the development of functional molecules has gained much momentum as progress has been made in various imaging modalities using light, radiation, and magnetism. Although research in different modalities has often been discussed in separate forums, there are many commonalities in research approaches in the design, development, and application of functional molecules based on small or medium molecules. Therefore, holding a cross-disciplinary symposium at the Pharmaceutical Society of Japan, where researchers from various fields gather, is expected to stimulate further and develop individual research, as well as to have a significant ripple effect on the pharmacy field in terms of imaging technology. Therefore, this year's "Symposium on Life-Oriented Chemistry in Pharmaceutical Sciences" will feature speakers from up-and-coming chemical researchers developing cutting-edge approaches to molecular imaging and theranostics. Specifically, they will discuss the development of molecular imaging probes using Raman scattering, phosphorescence, fluorescence, and radiation, and their biological applications. This will provide an opportunity to share information and discuss the frontier of molecular imaging research with many pharmaceutical researchers.

オーガナイザー挨拶:藤川 雄太(東京薬大生命) (4:10 PM - 4:13 PM)

総括:浅沼 大祐(東大院医) (6:08 PM - 6:10 PM)
