Guidelines for Presenters

Presentation Guidelines

*For all presenters, please rename your ZOOM ID with your presentation number followed by your name.  e.g) A-34 Dr. Yoshito Ando

 
A. Poster Format
1. Poster content should consist of 2 pages;
- 1st page contains project title, lists authors/co-authors, and affiliation.
- 2nd page includes other content such as introduction, objectives,  methodology, results and discussion, conclusion and etc. which are freely arranged by the presenter.
3. Font size and type are up to the participant but should be legible to read and good contrast between text, figure, diagram and background.
4. Please put your poster ID on the top right corner of the poster on the 1st page.

B. Poster Presentation
1. 3 minutes live presentation (rapid presentation style) and 2 minutes for Q&A
session.
2. Due to the strict time limit, participant does not need to give self-introduction as the
chairperson will do this part.
UPDATE: Please provide an introductory slide which should have your project title, name and affiliation (1st page). This slide will be shown on the screen when the chairperson introduces you and will not be counted in your 3 minutes presentation.
3. Poster presenters will be evaluated for the Best Poster Presentation Awards. Any
presentation exceeding 3 minutes will likely to adversely affect your mark.
 
 C. Oral Presentation
1. 15 minutes presentation and 5 minutes for Q&A session.
2. Presentation should be presented live (virtually), not pre-recorded.
3. Presenters must strictly follow the allocated presentation time.
 
D. General Rules
1. Practice your presentation to ensure it does not exceed the specified time.
2. Please arrive in the presentation breakout room at least 15 minutes prior to the
session start time.
3. Failure to turn-up at your allocated presentation timeslot will be interpreted as a
withdrawal from the oral/poster presentation.
4. The judges’ decision is final

E. Others
• Use internet connected PC or Laptop for Presentations
• Please sit at proper distance during presentation for good sound quality
• Keep the volume setting of your PC or Laptop at maximum
• Everyone except “Speaker” must keep their microphones mute
• Audience can post their questions in chat box
