Curing pre-cast concrete products under high temperature, low relative humidity, and elevated CO₂ levels, facilitates the storage of CO₂ as CaCO3, thereby transforming the concrete into a carbon sink. To ensure consistent quality of such products, it is essential to ascertain the depth to which CO₂ has been stored. This study investigated the feasibility of using Torrent permeameter and Wenner probe as non-destructive testing (NDT) methods to determine the effect of early-age carbonation curing on concrete’s air permeability and electrical surface resistance, respectively, and their variation with respect to carbonation depth.
