欧州で合成系燃料として販売されている市販燃料や、国際レース用の燃料について、燃料品質の特徴や日本の燃料規格への適合性を調査した。また、実際に試製したFT合成粗油の燃料性状を確認し、合成燃料として利用するための課題や、自動車燃料としての利用に向けた品質向上方法の方向性を把握した。
